| | More Beer
The brewing is going strong. I now have 30 gallons under my belt. The Old Reginald Red was received so well that I brewed up a second batch of it with some minor changes. The second batch turned out even better! Here is the label for your viewing enjoyment:
My second beer was an attempt at a chocolate stout. The beer has been in bottles for several weeks now, but did not turn out as well as I had hoped. I completely revamped the recipe and re-brewed it two weeks ago. The label and name I came up with for this one is my favorite so far:
The third beer I brewed was my first attempt at a partial mash. This is a more complex brewing process that allows more freedom and customization to beer making. I added malted rye to a traditional light American Ale. I am really eager to crack open one and take my first sample this weekend. So now without further ado, I introduce Bye, Bye Skip's American Rye!
